Annual Fund

As with other independent schools, tuition for each BHDS student does not cover the entire cost of education. Annual Fund dollars are used to bridge the gap – $2,700 this year – between tuition income and the actual cost of educating each child.

Each fall, supporters of BHDS pledge unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund. Payment of pledges are due the following June. Last year 96% of Brandeis Hillel families contributed to the Annual Fund – which raised nearly $525,000 (a record amount for BHDS). Every gift, large and small, benefits the students directly. This year our goal is to raise $535,500. With your help, we can reach this goal.

Annual Fund gifts support all programs at BHDS, from academics, athletics, and technology to the arts, Judaic studies and outdoor education. The Annual Fund supports our dedicated teachers, and provides the resources they need to bring outstanding educational programs to our eager and talented young students.
