School Day

After School Program

Our on-site after-school program, called Brandeis PM, is a service offered to parents who need daily, reliable care for their children. It is also available on both an occasional and drop-in basis. After-school care begins at dismissal and is open until 6:00 P.M. All-day care is available on parent conference and staff development days. In addition to our after-care program, we offer enrichment activities. Classes vary from season to season but may include computers, cooking, additional foreign languages, music, Legoland, sports, and acting.

Transportation

Morning and afternoon bus service is available on the San Francisco campus for an additional fee. For students involved in after-school sports and enrichment programs, there is a late bus as well.

Currently there is no bus service on the Marin campus, however individual families arrange carpools that service much of the San Francisco and Marin areas.

School Hours

Kindergarten Hours:
8:20 A.M. until 2 P.M.
First - Eighth Hours:
8:20 A.M. until 3:15 P.M.

Lunch Program

We maintain Kashrutat lunch and at all school-sponsored functions. All lunches and snacks brought from home must be dairy and kosher. As a supplement to bag lunches brought from home, Brandeis Hillel offers a variety of lunch options. On the Marin campus, Mangia Nosh provides a hot lunch alternative. In San Francisco, Kid Chow provides a cold lunch delivery option. Our school sponsored meat lunches are kosher, under school Kashrut policy.
