Coach Jen is our JV girls' head basketball coach. Prior to coaching at BHDS, she was an assistant at Convent of the Sacred Heart High School for the 2010–2011 season, where her team was undefeated in their league, were BCL Champions, and gained a bid to the NorCal Tournament.
Coach Jen attended Convent of the Sacred Heart High School, where she was a four-year starter and won the CIF State Championship during her freshman year. Jen received her undergraduate degree in business and economics at New York University, where she also played four years of collegiate basketball. She currently works at First Republic Bank on the largest and most profitable relationship management team in the bank, the Mega Team. She also continues to play basketball as an active member of the Olympic Club and plays on the Olympic Club women’s national traveling team.
Coach T is our 6th and 7B boys' basketball coach. Prior to Brandeis, he coached girls' basketball and soccer. He grew up playing soccer, basketball and tennis. He played varsity soccer at Bonita Vista High School for four years. He was also a member of the Bonita Rebels Soccer Club and the San Diego Soccer Club. He is a sports junkie and loves to watch any sport, live or on TV. He is new to coaching but loves to teach. He currently works at BHDS as an associate teacher for 3W. During the summer he is the camp director for Galileo Summer Quest San Francisco, located onsite at BHDS.
Coach Corrie is our athletics director as well as varsity girls' and boys' 7A head basketball coach. Prior to coaching at BHDS, she was the varsity girls' head basketball coach at Acalanes High School, where she was a four-year varsity starter and won the CIF State Championship during her junior year. Coach Corrie received her undergraduate degree in educational studies from the University of Oregon, where she also played collegiate basketball. She holds many individual statistical records including most assists in a game, in a season, and currently ranks fifth all-time in career assists. She has also played professionally in Europe. She holds a master of arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in sports and education, where she served as a graduate assistant to the nationally ranked women’s basketball team. She continues to play basketball as an active member of the Olympic Club and plays on the Olympic Club women’s national traveling team.
Coach Smith is our cross-country and soccer coach. Prior to BHDS, she has coached track and field, tennis, basketball and gymnastics. She graduated from Bluffton University with a degree in health and physical education and a minor in athletic coaching. While at Bluffton, she competed in four collegiate level sports, including cross-country, track and field, soccer, and tennis. Smith received three conference titles in track and field for the 400-meter and long jump. She also currently holds five collegiate records in the sport of track and field. While competing in soccer she started for three seasons and spent a semester abroad playing in an international tournament in Berlin. She currently works at BHDS as a P.E. teacher. In her free time she participates in a Golden Gate women's soccer league and runs marathons.
Coach Stanton is our boys' and girls' JV and Varsity soccer coach. He also coaches for the Tiburon Soccer Club and was an assistant soccer coach at Hardin Simmons University. Coach Stanton attended Deer Valley High School, where he was a three-year varsity starter, all-league selection and won the NCS Championship his senior year. He then extended his playing career at Chico State as a four-year starter, three-year CCAA all-league selection and national championship participant. He received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and received his teaching credential from S.F. State. He currently works at BHDS as a P.E. teacher. He continues to play soccer competitively and enjoys running, cycling and lifting weights in his spare time.
