Application Process

While the application process has multiple steps, we're here to help. Here is a quick checklist to ensure that you have completed all of the required steps.

 

  • Schedule a campus tour by calling or emailing Gavriel Elkind, Admissions Associate, at (415) 406-1035 x1008 or gelkind@bhds.org.
  • For Kindergarten applicants: sign up for our “Just for Kindergarten 2013” Open House event on Wednesday, November 7 from 6:30-8:30 pm by emailing Gavriel Elkind at gelkind@bhds.org
  • For Middle School applicants: sign up for our “All about Middle School 2013” Open House event on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 6:30-8:30 pm by emailing Gavriel Elkind at gelkind@bhds.org.
Apply online by January 15, 2013
  1. Complete the top portion of the Student Evaluation Form and give to applicant’s current teacher
  2. For grades 1-8, provide report cards, narrative reports and standardized tests for the last two years as well as any other pertinent information.
  3. Include recent photo of applicant (optional)
  4. Submit $100 application fee (nonrefundable)
Apply for tuition assistance (if applicable)
  • We will contact you to schedule a parent interview, and a Kindergarten screening date or a grade 1-8 student school visit date

Grades K-8 Admission Dates

  • Application deadline - Tuesday, January 15, 2013; decision letters mailed March 14, 2013.

Please note: for grades 1-8, late applications will be considered only on a space-available basis.
