Kravitz has traveled all over the world, studying indigenous music and collecting rare instruments—such as a donkey’s jawbone from Peru—which he incorporates in his performance. Our students were intrigued by the variety of music he played, as well as by instruments they had never heard, including a saw and a theremin.
