Alexander String Quartet Performs for BHDS Students

The world-renowned Alexander String Quartet delivered a beautiful performance for BHDS students, including quartets by Shubert, Beethoven, and Bartok—along with fascinating anecdotes about the composers and the musicians' experiences. "When we play for you or at any other school, we don't bring 'children's music'—we bring the real stuff," said second violinist (and BHDS parent) Fred Lifsitz to our students. They sure did.
