Posted February 29, 2012

Brian Goldman, BHDS class of 1997, has been awarded a clerkship with Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. After graduating from University High School and then Yale, Brian spent two years working at a management consulting firm in New York City. Following law school at Stanford, he clerked for Judge Stephen Reinhardt on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Los Angeles, and now this year is serving as an attorney at the Justice Department. He will start with Justice Sotomayor in July.

"From Ms. Eisenhauer's first-grade class through eighth-grade social studies with Mr. Biskar, BHDS instilled in me a love of learning and commitment to civic engagement that have guided me throughout my education and career," said Brian. "I'm grateful to BHDS for laying the groundwork that has led to this exciting opportunity to serve at the Supreme Court next year," he added.

On April 5, Brian will visit BHDS to speak to our eighth graders. Stay tuned for details!
