The Brandeis Hillel Day School library serves the needs of our K-8 students, faculty and
families. Through stories and book talks, the library fosters an appreciation
of traditional and current literature as students are exposed to the best of
fiction and non-fiction books.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade have weekly scheduled library time for structured library lessons as well as free reading opportunities. Older students use the library for
research, incorporating reference sources, databases and the Internet.
We have a collection of over 14,000 titles and are continually adding new resources to enhance the library shelves and our school community.
We subscribe to Ed1Stop, which is a web portal including many subcription based services such as Discovery Education Streaming, Grolier Online, Brain Pop and much more.
