BHDS admits students of any race or color, any national or ethnic origin, to all the activities and programs of the school and with the rights and privileges of all students.

Upon the request of an applicant and to the extent reasonably possible, the school will attempt to provide appropriate accommodations in the application and interview process.

While the application process has multiple steps, we're here to help. Here is a quick checklist to ensure that you have completed all of the required steps.

  1. Complete the top portion of the Student Evaluation Form and give to applicant’s current teacher.
  2. For grades 1-8, provide report cards, narrative reports and standardized tests for the last two years as well as any other pertinent information.
  3. Include recent photo of applicant (optional)
  4. Submit $100 application fee (nonrefundable)
  • We will contact you to schedule a parent interview, and a Kindergarten screening date or a grade 1-8 student school visit date

Grades K-5 Admission Dates

  • First round application deadline - Tuesday, January 15, 2013; decision letters mailed March 14, 2013.
  • Rolling admission after March 14, 2013. 

Grades 6-8 Admission Dates

  • First round application deadline - Thursday, February 7, 2013; decision letters mailed March 14, 2013.
  • Rolling admission after March 14, 2013.
