Fourth Grade Leads Tefillah and Shavuot Celebration

Our fourth graders led a special Shavuot tefillah for grades 3-5, with both traditional and modern melodies. Shavuot, the spring pilgrimage and harvest festival, celebrates the Israelites' receiving of the Torah and the Ten Commandments at Mt. Sinai. After the prayer service, fourth grade parents and siblings joined in Israeli dancing.
