Technology

The school gives age-appropriate, hands-on, enriching technology opportunities to every student in the lower school. In the technology lab, students learn to enhance their general studies and creative projects using many tools, including computers, CD ROMS, video and digital cameras, and software. Through lab and class time, students can integrate these tools into other classroom projects.

Students learn to use Hyperstudio, a multimedia application that allows them to create a slideshow with images, sound, text, and graphics. Typical projects include using Hyperstudio to write and illustrate fairy tales, including sound effects, or to create a digital "quilt" of the Hebrew Aleph Bet, complete with drawings for each letter of the Aleph Bet!
