Grades 1-8

Transferring school, whether due to relocation or the need to find a better fit, is an important transition for both students and their families. We encourage parents to join us for either our grade 1-5 tours or our middle school tours. In addition, prospective middle school students and their families are invited to join us for ”All About Middle School,“ to learn more about the program for grades 6-8.

Upon receipt of an application, applicants will be contacted regarding a school visit and interview. Student interviews are required and help the school determine whether Brandeis Hillel Day School is a good fit for your child. We require grades 1-8 applicants to submit copies of report cards, narratives, and any available standardized test results for the past two years. These documents are to be sent directly to the admissions office at the campus to which the student is applying. An application cannot be considered complete until all records have been received. In addition, all applicants need to have a recommendation form completed by their current teacher(s).

All applications, accompanied by the application fee of $75, should be returned to the school office no later than January 15, 2008 for those applying for admission the following September. Late applications will be considered only on a space-available basis.

Important!

In cooperation with other Bay Area independent K-8 schools, admission notifications are mailed on March 12, 2008.
